Cave
The Alma Cave, located to the north of Safed and near the small community of Alma, is considered to be one of the deepest in Israel. In order to add a mysterious flair, one should know that in Arabic the Alma Cave is called "the Abyss Cave”. Also, according to an ancient legend it was through the Alma Cave that the Jews who were exiled into Babylon came back into the Land of Israel from their captivity (thus it is also called the "Babylonian Cave”). In any event, the Alma cave spreads over half a kilometer and has many stalactites.
