Ayala (Chino) Skatepark

Chino, California

1.1 miles S of Chino, California
This park is set up perfect, it has terrain of all styles and levels. There are tons of hips, ledges and fun tranny. They have a 3 leaf clover bowl with tile pool coping. There is a great flow section with banks ranging from 4\' to 7\' with so many lines you can skate this place everyday and still come up with something new. We drove up from Newport Beach and it was worth the drive. If you are in the area you must skate this park. Check out video of a local ripper in chino session Courtesy of skatepark.com

Cerritos Skate Park

Cerritos, California

0.7 miles SE of Cerritos, California
Locals rip it up here but didn\'t look fun at all wasted lines everywere. Located at the Cerritos Sports Complex, 19900 Bloomfield Ave., the 10,000-square foot skate park was built by the City for local skating enthusiasts at a cost of $316,724. Some $242,811 of the cost was funded by a Los Angeles County Park Bond Act. This park is tough to skate, if you have no were else to go skate here other wise find a real park. A committee of Cerritos youths and adults helped the City and its architect design the park. The committee members included Ryan Collier, Marty Flax, Neil Flax, Debra Mall, Jamil Mall, Billy Merino, Daniel Plotnik, Zvi Plotnik, Doug Swaim, Omar Vinas, Cameron Vodegel, Taylor Walton and Tim Walton. The park was designed by Purkiss Rose Landscape Architecture to provide a safe and challenging place for skateboarders and in-line skaters of all experience levels. The location, at the east end of the Sports Complex, north of the tennis courts, was selected with help from nearby residents and Sports Complex patrons. The 90-foot by 120-foot park offers a dozen cement \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"street elements\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" such as benches, ramps, rails and curbs as well as pyramids, snake runs, hips and bowls. The park is enclosed by a wrought-iron fence, which will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to dusk and Mondays from 11 a.m. to dusk for skateboarders and in-line skaters. (Bicycles and scooters will not be allowed.) The park was constructed by Hondo Company, Inc. For more information, call the Recreation Services Division at (562) 916-1254 Courtesy of skatepark.com

This park is pretty good for being in any city let alone a hillbilly town. The park is tucked away off of highway 9 past Scotts Valley. This park has a great bowl that is super fast and easy to get into. Street course is a little jacked not to many lines but its worth stopping by if you want to skate the bowl all day. Not busy at all when I was there. Courtesy of skatepark.com

There are some big obstacles for a street course but everything is too cramped together and the park really doesn't flow very well. The kidney bowl was ok but nothing great as the transition is way too tight for this bowl and the cement seems to be cheap quality. The local kids have a couple lines in this park but over all it was ok. Courtesy of skatepark.com
