Camp, Hike, and Swim

Lough na Fooey is a classic glacial lake in a steep-sided valley, surrounded by the ruggedly beautiful mountains of Galway and Mayo. Four substantial rivers and countless mountain streams flow into the Lough. The fishing is free (no licence is needed), and the unpolluted waters hold good stocks of wild brown trout and pike.
