SE Alaska\'s first concrete skatepark. Built by Grindline. About 7500 sq. ft. Completed Sept. 8th 2007 Has a nice flow bowl with a \'birdbath\' feature, some vert, pipe coping throughout. Bikes and boards allowed. Has a decent street section. Open daylight hours. Helmets req\'d. Not attended. parkdirections: From downtown, take Lake Street to HPR, turn West. Go to the next redlight at Katlian Street intersection, on the water side, in \'Turnaraound Park\'. Ample parking, bathroom in harbor a short walk from park, or across HPR at ballfield.
