Mountain Bike
Wicked Hard is a flowing, purpose-built mountain-bike trail in the sprawling Lynn Woods Reservation north of Boston — one of the largest municipal parks in the United States. Part of the park's celebrated “Surf City” trail area, it was crafted by pro rider and trail designer Jeff Lenosky (of “Trail Boss” fame), and it shows in the flow.
True to its New England name, the trail delivers a fun, rolling ride with berms, rock features, and the kind of natural technical character Lynn Woods is known for — a rocky, rooty playground packed into the woods just minutes from the coast. It rewards riders who like to pump and carry speed, and it links into the broader Lynn Woods trail network for a longer day in the saddle.
The reservation is free and open to the public, laced with miles of trails, ponds, and even a historic stone tower to explore.
Ride in control and yield to hikers, bring a helmet and basic tools, and expect classic rocky New England singletrack — best from spring through fall.
