Camp, Hike, and Hot Springs

Bonneville Hot Springs are a series of soaking pools that are the most popular activity for visitors to Bonneville Campground outside of Lowman Idaho. The campground is located besides Warm Springs Creek and near the South Fork Payette River. This provides campers access to a wide variety of water activities for entertainment.

The Bonneville Hot Springs is a short quarter mile hike from the campground. This colorful pool filled by a warm waterfall. This is a beautiful spot to enjoy the warm water and a naturally formed hot spring. In addition to this natural hot springs, Bonneville Hot Springs also features some man-made spring fed rock and sand bottom pools, as well as a private soak shack with an iron soaking tub. These unique pools provide soakers with a beautiful one of a kind experience.

Warm Creek Springs is open for fishing and is a great location for catching trout. Access to the South Fork Payette River can be found just across the highway from the campground. Here visitors can kayak and white water raft.

Bonneville Campground has 22 campsites. Campsites cost $15 for a single site and $30 for a double site per night. Day use of the campground are costs $5 per vehicle. Campsites can be reserved at this website.

Be careful. Pay attention to posted signs and always test the waters before you get in. Some hot springs can get up to boiling temperatures. Be sure to drink plenty of water to combat the dehydrating effect of the spring.
Be respectful of other soakers and the hot spring. Don't hog the pool. Camp at least 200 yards away and keep fires in designated areas. Keep your pets out of the water and never pee in thermal feature. Glass bottles should never go near a hot spring.
