Chickasabogue Park is a 1,100-acre outdoor recreation facility and wildlife refuge. It provides a wide variety of outdoor activities in a natural setting while protecting the environment and preserving the diversity of plants and animals indigenous to the area.
The park is open from 7 a.m. until dusk for day-use activities and is open 24 hours for campers. The gates are locked at night and professional guards are on duty to assist campers and enforce park rules.

Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.

From Prichard, Alabama
- Head west on E Azan St toward N Wilson Ave (0.1 mi)
- Turn right onto N Wilson Ave (0.1 mi)
- Turn left at the 2nd cross street onto W Elm St (0.2 mi)
- Continue onto Whistler St (2.5 mi)
- Turn right onto Aldock RdPartial restricted usage road(1.3 mi)
The park is located off of I-65. Take exit 13 and go left at the first traffic light. Stay in the left hand lane and take another left at the second light onto Shelton Beach Road. Proceed down this road until you pass the entrance to Mobile College. After a mile or two you will take another left onto Whistler Street. Finally, turn left onto Aldock Road and follow the signs.
