The majority of the trail is in moderate to heavy timber with only a few scenic vistas. Evidence of old mining and timber activities are visible from the trail. The roads to the southern trailhead are extremely rough and not recommended for passenger vehicles. There are loops at both trailheads for easy trailer parking. This trail has very little vertical relief for the first six miles from the southern end, running relatively close to the contours. via fs.usda.gov Courtesy of Singletracks.com

Add ResourceNever modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
