Echo Rock Hot Springs is a secluded hot springs, and the perfect destination for adventurers who enjoy the challenge of finding hidden treasures. This bright blue hot springs is nestled in the beautiful orange and white rock formations of Echo Rock Canyon.
The hike to Echo Rock hot springs is 3.5 miles from the nearest road. This hike is moderately difficult. With an early start visitors can hike up and back in the same day, but camping is allowed for those wishing to enjoy the scenery. Camping here is primitive style, campers should bring everything they need in and out with them. Please keep this beautiful, natural wonder in it's natural state with your cleanliness and consideration.
The hot springs themselves are natural fed, and lined in concrete. Visitors will find an empty valve and a fill valve. The water is at 109 degrees Fahrenheit consistently. In the summer this section of the river is covered by the Owyhee Reservoir water. Visitors should check the water levels before visiting here.

Be careful. Pay attention to posted signs and always test the waters before you get in. Some hot springs can get up to boiling temperatures. Be sure to drink plenty of water to combat the dehydrating effect of the spring.
Be respectful of other soakers and the hot spring. Don't hog the pool. Camp at least 200 yards away and keep fires in designated areas. Keep your pets out of the water and never pee in thermal feature. Glass bottles should never go near a hot spring.
