Hike, Horseback, and Mountain Bike
McAdoo Trail passes through both bottomland and upland woodlands with several creek crossings. Travelers will pass through Christopher Woods, a section of woodland that contains the oldest stand of continuous timber within the park. White connector 1 (1.20 miles) and white connector 2 (.45 miles) are provided for shortening the hike or creating additional looping options. McAdoo Trail is the only trail in the park open to equestrian riders as well as hikers.

- Head south on N Madison Ave toward W Bridge St (0.1 mi)
- Turn right onto W McPherson St/U.S. 50 Bus (0.4 mi)
- Turn left onto MO-23 S (1.8 mi)
- Turn right onto SE State Hwy DdDestination will be on the left(1.4 mi)
Interstate I-70 at Concordia, MO, south on hwy 23 to Knob Noster (50 hwy), continue south on hwy 23 a short distance to Knob Noster state park entrance.
