Penns Store is a popular swimming hole on the North Rolling Fork River. It is named after Penn's Store, one of the oldest country stores in the United States. This swimming hole is popular because of the multiple sandy beaches and sand bars in the water. The sandy beaches leave plenty of room for visitors to spread out and relax on shore. The water is cool and slow moving, making this the perfect natural swimming pool on a hot summer day.
This swimming hole is privately owned, but the owners have opened it for public use for swimming, picnicking and fishing only. The owners ask that visitors do not use motorized boats or other vehicles on their property, and clean up after themselves when visiting the property. Please be respectful of the owners and of the nature while visiting Penns Store Swimming Hole.
