Cave, Hike, Rock Climb, and Whitewater

Sinks Canyon State Park is located in the Wind River Mountains. The park gets its name "The Sinks",  from the part of the Popo Agie  river that flows underground into a limestone cavern. The river surfaces 1/4 mile down the canyon in the pool called 'The Rise".

This state park provides hiking, fishing, and camping opportunities. There are tent and RV sites, along with some yurt sites to stay in.
