Mountain Bike
First off, there are two parking areas for this trail. I would suggest parking at the first one you see if it's not full. This makes your ride an up and down rather than a down then up. This trail is actually a 'dumbell' shaped trail rather than a loop but the main loop is best ridden in a clockwise direction. The upper loop (Summit trail) is best ridden clockwise as well. Despite what the FalconGuide says about this trail, the summit is at almost 8500 ft (not 8100 ft) so there's about 1000 feet of climbing. The trail is mostly easy to ride although the trail does get pretty rocky in spots. Overall the trail is extremely worn due to its popularity. Grab a map at the trailhead so you don't get lost, particularly on the 3 Sisters side of the trail. Courtesy of Singletracks.com
