Skateboard

The North Port Skate Park opened in 2001 and features concrete bowls, ramps, jumps and rails with restrooms, two small shelters and vending machines.

The Skate Park facility allows mixed use of skateboards, bikes and inline skates. children under 11 years must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are mandatory. Elbow and knee pads are highly recommended. Admission is free with an active D-FY (Drug Free Youth) membership or an annual pass may be purchased for $30. Daily admission is $1. Exact change is required. Annual pass memberships are processed at the George Mullen Activity Center or Morgan Family Community Centers during normal operating hours. Please call 429-7275 for information on D-FY dates at the Morgan Family Community Center.
