Trail is well maintained single track that is flowing and fast with reasonable climbs. Only a 3 or 4 moderate technical areas. From the parking area at shelter 9, you can enter and go left or right. Right goes to the older trails (Masons First, Boyscout, etc.) Left takes you to the new sections as of end of 2012. www.trailmasons.org for trail maps. You can also ride all the way around the lake as well on the horse trails to get more than 20 miles of trail...but these trails are clearly multi-use. Courtesy of Singletracks.com

Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
