Bentonville Memorial Skate Park is a solid concrete skatepark set within Memorial Park in Bentonville, Arkansas, in the heart of the state's booming northwest region. At around 11,000 square feet, it's a mellow, well-rounded park with a good variety of obstacles and a friendly community feel.
The layout gives skaters plenty to work with: a small funbox and a large funbox, two grind rails, a hipped quarter, a set of quarterpipes with a deck between them, and a five-foot-deep three-sided bowl connected to the rest of the park by a spine and a fun hip. The mix of rails, ledges, banks, and bowl terrain makes for a variety of lines that suit beginners working on the basics and more advanced skaters alike. Handy amenities include lighting for evening sessions, restrooms, shade, and parking.
As a free public park in a city known for its outdoor recreation, it's an easy, enjoyable stop. As always, wear a helmet and pads (especially younger skaters), be courteous and take turns, bring water, and check for any posted hours. Approachable and fun, Bentonville Memorial is a great neighborhood park in a great skate town.
