Swim
This is not really a swimming hole, but, other than the "Jefferson Pools" in Virginia, it is the closest thing to a hot springs in this part of the country. It is in the cute mountain town of Berkeley Springs. Naturally warm mineral water is further heated up and you can soak in an indoor tub or a Roman pool at 104 degrees. It is a State Park and it costs about $10 per person (1999). Massages, steam and various other treatments are available for extra cost in another building. Get reservations; call first.
