This swimming hole is found inside a small pocket of the California Redwood tree belt. The South Fork of the Eel river winds through the camping area and provides a large swimming pool for visitors to go to. From the Redwood Campground, visitors will hike about a quarter mile until they reach the pool. There is not much shade so be prepared to bring an umbrella or something that will provide shade. Many people enjoy fishing, floating, and jumping from the cliffs at this swimming pool.
