Canoe, Kayak, and Swim
Pruitt is a wonderful location on the Buffalo River with two swimming holes to access, Pruitt Landing and Pruitt Ranger's Station.
Pruitt Landing has a sandy beach that is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the gradual slope into the deep water. A new bridge can be seen from here weaving across the beautiful water from one lushly forested side to the other.
Pruitt Ranger Station has a swimming hole beneath the 25 foot Pruitt Bluff. The cliff provides unique views and shade throughout the day. These two swimming holes provide swimmers with a lot of space to spread out and enjoy the cool deep water.
Near Pruitt Bluff there are publicly accessible restrooms, picnic tables and a playground for children. Both swimming holes are located right off of Arkansas Highway 7 making them easily accessible without long hikes or drives. Pruitt is the perfect place to enjoy a hot summer day.
