The White Rock swimming hole is a beautiful location on th Santa Ynez River. The water here is deep and cool, with some low rocks to jump from, making this the perfect location to splash around in on a hot summer day. Be careful to check that the water levels are high enough before jumping off the rocks.
Parking, picnic areas and restrooms can be found a short walk from the swimming hole at the White Rock Day Use Picnic area. The charming picnic area is surrounded by oak trees and allows for barbecues and campfires (which are not allowed by the river). The picnic area has 27 parking sites and parking costs $10 for the day. Parkers may also use their Parks Management Annual Day Pass to park here.
