Mountain Bike
This trail is much like the Northern Skyline--you will climb, climb and then climb--over 3,000 vertical if you go all the way up. While the vertical is a little higher than the Northern Skyline, the ride seem a little easier as the grade is a little less and the surface a little less bumpy. Look for great views of Mt Ogden and the Snowbasin ski area on the way up and then panoramic views of the Wasatch range and surrounding valleys once on top. Once you gain the ridge, there are numerous options, including further climbing to a couple peaks. Turn around when you've had enough, or you can make a loop by plummeting to the North Ogden divide and then taking roads back around to your car. If you're an insatiable hammerhead, create the ultra-epic by dropping to the North Ogden Divide, then continuing up the Northern Skyline trail and Ben Lomond summit, then plummet back down either the Norhthern Skyline Trail or the Ben Lomond trail and loop the pavement back to your car.
