Skateboard
Pacific Community Skatepark is Clark County's original extreme-sports park, tucked into Pacific Community Park in the Vancouver, Washington area. Built in 2007 to a design by Seattle's renowned Grindline Skateparks — with input from local skaters and BMXers — it's a well-flowing concrete park that has stood the test of time.
The roughly 10,000-square-foot park blends street and transition: the centerpiece is a large bowl with a cradle, paired with a smaller street area of ledges and rails. That combination suits a wide range of skill levels and, unusually, the park welcomes skateboards, BMX bikes, inline skates, and non-motorized scooters alike, so everyone gets a turn.
As a county park, it's free and open to the public, with the broader Pacific Community Park offering fields and facilities around it. Long-range county plans call for expanding the skate area down the road.
Bring a helmet and pads, and expect a friendly mix of skaters and riders sharing the concrete — keep the session flowing and take your turns.
