Camp

Sunset Campground is one of Bryce Canyon's two main campgrounds. It consists of 101 campsites linked together with three loops, loops A B and C. There are 20 tent-only campsites, 80 tent and RV campsites and one group site. All sites are available on a first come first served basis.

Each campsite has a picnic table available for campers use as well as fire grates that can be used for campfires and cooking. Drinking water and restrooms with flushing toilets are available at Sunset Campground.

Sunset Campground has no sewer, water or electrical hook-ups available at RV campsites. During the summer months a dump station is available at the South end of North Campground for a $5 use fee. Potable water is also available there.

There is a $20 fee for a tent campsite and a $30 fee for a RV campsite per night at Sunset Campground. These fees are reduced to half price for campers with Golden Age, Golden Access and America the Beautiful Federal Lands Senior and Access Passes.

Each campsite allows up to ten campers. Up to six campers may be adults, over 16 years old. Each campsite accommodates up to three tents and two vehicles.

Sunset Campground is close to Sunset Point, as well as several other popular spots in Bryce Canyon, including Inspiration Point and Peek-a-boo Trail.
