Winter is obviously the season, and like every sledding hill in Utah, it depends entirely on what the sky delivers. The best runs come the morning after a fresh snowfall, before the slope gets packed slick and icy in the afternoon. Once the snow melts out, it's simply a hillside again.

Dress for real cold in waterproof layers and proper boots, bring your own sled or tube, park considerately in the surrounding neighbourhood, and pack out whatever you bring, broken sleds included.
