Camp

Located two miles west of Alpine, Wyoming. Campground is situated in lodgepole pine trees, on flat terrain, and subject to wind and summer thunderstorms. Area is located near the south end of Palisades Reservoir, with excellent boating, waterskiing, swimming, and canoeing. Lake and shore fishing for wild and stocked cutthroat trout is very popular. Brown trout, kokanee salmon, and mackinaw trout can also be found. Greys River, Salt River, and Snake River merge nearby, offering additional great fishing and wildlife viewing.

  1. Head west on Trail Drive Rd toward Alpine Cir (476 ft)
  2. Turn right onto Center St (0.1 mi)
  3. Turn right onto US-89 N (0.7 mi)
  4. Continue onto US-26 W (2.1 mi)
  5. Turn left onto Forest Rd 415 (signs for Alpine Camp Ground) (0.1 mi)
  6. Turn left to stay on Forest Rd 415

Southeastern Idaho; From Idaho Falls, ID go on Highway 26, 70 miles southeast, travelling past the beautiful Palisades Reservoir. Campground is on the west side of the highway just before the Wyoming state line. Western Wyoming, 40 miles south of Jackson Hole. Go 2 miles west of Alpine Wyoming on Highway 26. Campground located along highway.
