Piney River is a great location for visitors hoping to experience multiple swimming holes in the same location. Visitors hoping to reach the swimming holes should follow Cumberland Trail down Piney River. There are several spots where the water widens and allows for swimming. One of these swimming holes is located at the bottom of a small waterfall.
