Wave in a canal located at Groveland. It's a great little spot to practice. ISU uses it for training beginning/intermediate whitewater kayaking, river safety and swiftwater rescue.

From Blackfoot, Idaho
- Head southwest on N Broadway St toward W Pacific St (0.1 mi)
- Turn right at the 2nd cross street onto I-15BL S/W Bridge St (signs for I-15)Continue to follow I-15BL S(1.2 mi)
- Continue onto US-26 W (0.6 mi)
- Turn right onto N 400 W/Groveland Rd (2.7 mi)
- Turn left onto N 400 W/Macdonaldville Rd (1.2 mi)

Fun little wave to get your feet wet for new kayakers! I floated it in my life jacket, on the front of the wave the water was about 3 feet deep, in the wave and past it the water is over 5 feet deep. I didn’t notice any obvious hazards. It was pretty easy to exit downstream.

12/18/18 1:29 pmso fun me and my friend love this place we body board the bigger waves. warning watch water levels if not onofe it can be very dangerous alwase weir floatation device these are still rapid but still super fun recommend them so much and can't wait to try and surf the wave
