The Wild Rose trail park has several trails with varying uphill and downhill portions. There are a few single track routes taht are good for early intermediate riders, and a more technical downhill trail for more expert riders. For the more adventurous riders there is a connecting trail with access to the ridge.

Getting there is pretty easy. Riders can continue on an extension of the Bonneville shoreline trail to Wild Rose Trail park or they can drive over to the trail park and use the parking. There is a hiking trail with no bikes allowed, called the Chukkar Loop.

Wild Rose Loop Trail is about 2.5 miles long and takes riders up to Sunset Point and around the mountain. It is a good trail for strong beginners, but be careful on the more technical downhill rides.

The downhill trails have some pretty good technical spots. There are several berms along the trail that are a little sloppy and loose. Some surfing skills would be required to get down safely. Because the Down hill trail crosses with the Wild Rose trail, riders should take caution and be aware of traffic. At some of the trail forks, riders may stop in the trail to figure out which trail they should take, so be careful of other riders.

Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
