The Cedar Hills to Grove Creek Canyon portion of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail is an intermediate level trail. There are some flat spots that are on old dirt roads, as well as single track mountain biking portions with an upper and lower portion. When bikers go along this portion of the trail, the most used route is the Canal Road (or Bench Road). It can be found behind a steel gate within the parking area for the Grove Canyon area. This portion of the trail is currently near some construction and there can be a lot of intersecting trails. Keep to the northbound trails whenever a fork presents itself.
The trail is about 3 miles in length and doesn't require too much technical riding, but is mainly flat riding. This trail is a portion connecting the Bonneville Shoreline Trail from Orem to Pleasant Grove.
