Skateboard

Rigby Skate Park is a friendly neighborhood skate spot in Rigby, Idaho, in the upper Snake River Valley near Idaho Falls. A compact concrete park built for the local crew, it's a fun, low-key place for skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter kids to roll, practice, and progress.

While it's on the smaller side, the park packs in a nice variety of features: a couple of half bowls for carving, a few sets of stairs, some ramps, and a handful of rails — plus plenty of extra smooth pavement that's perfect for practicing flatground tricks like kickflips and dialing in your basics. It's an approachable spot, especially good for beginners and intermediate skaters working on their skills.

As a public city facility, it's free and open to all — an easygoing community hangout. As always at skateparks, gear up with a helmet and pads (especially younger riders), be courteous and take turns with others, bring water, and check for any posted hours or rules before you go.

Easy to reach and welcoming to all levels, Rigby Skate Park is a nice little spot for the eastern Idaho skate community and a handy stop for travelers passing through the Idaho Falls area.

They're pretty good about letting you drive through to skate.
