Mountain Bike
Bovine trail is part of a larger system. You can use it to access more trails or make it your end destination from other trailheads. It is a steep climb but returns the favor with a fast downhill. This trail along with Channel Lock are used as entry or exit points into the Horseshoe trail network. Used as a starting point the trail offers a very steep climb with only a small downhill section at the end. The trail can get pretty steep in places for those who aren't used to climbing. It climbs mostly out in the open sagebrush with sweeping views. The trail surface is mostly smooth dirt. Used as an exit point, the trail will leave you smiling for all of your hard work. Berms you struggled climbing up look a lot better going down. It flows fast going down through the turns and is well maintained by local user groups. Courtesy of MTBProject.com
