Trail starts by going up the Channel lock trail. At the top of Channel Lock go right onto the Southbound trail. Trail will loop back to Channel lock which you take back to your car. Trail is marked on the right off the road. Trail will meet a connector double track close to the end. There is a larger network of trail in area that you can combine to extend your day. Trails are signed with the brown carsonite signs. Courtesy of Singletracks.com
This trail rides equally well in both directions. Try both to find your preference. It's one of the first trails to dry out and last trails to be hit with snow, making it a great early season trail. The trail is along mostly open sagebrush hillsides. There's a small tree section towards the Southern TH and another one at the end on the Northern TH. The trail is exposed to the elements so it's not as smooth as other Horseshoe trails. The center section is made up of small gravel which can be pretty loose when really dry conditions exist. The trail provides sweeping views of the Teton Range. It has a mostly XC up and down feel to it.Courtesy of MTBProject.com

Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
