Mountain Bike

Built on an old quarry, Gem Lake Bike Park offers a variety of riding. There's no shortages of berms here and there's plenty of space to get some speed, drop in or climb out. The trails here are decently wide so passing is easy, which is great because all of the trails here are bi-directional. There aren't many trees here so visibility is fantastic and you'll always see who's coming the other way. There are a handful of wooden features and even some great options to progress your skills. The Perimeter trail is a 1 mile green trail that makes a loop around the outside of the park. Within that loop there are a variety of trails, lines, and features.

Gem Lake Bike Park is a great option if you just want to get in a quick ride without the travel time or if you just need to ride when the hills are still covered with snow. It's also a great place to work on skills or ride with your family. It's easy to let your kids take off and enjoy their own ride and know they're never very far away and almost always within site. The bike park shares parking and facilities with the Gem Lake Marina.

Never modify trail features. Ride trails when they're dry enough that you won't leave ruts. Speak up when you see others on the trail and always yield to hikers, horses, and others coming uphill. Always ride on the established trail.
